    SV 211 Slalom Skiing?

Does anyone have photos of someone slalom skiing or doing a slalom course with the SV211? I've seen great pics of surfing and wakeboarding behind the 211, but I haven't seen the supposidly buttery wake with someone slalom skiing behind that boat. Pics anyone?

    Thanks.

    RE: SV 211 Slalom Skiing?

No pics but I slalomed behind a 211 in September. Not as good as my 206 but pretty amazing. We did 22 and 28 off at 36 mph free skiing. What minor dropoff in wake won't be enough for my ski buddies and I not to give my 206 breaks during next summer.

my brother skiis behind my 211 and says its good to go, he owns a sanger dx2 . the 211 cant touch the 206 or the 216 though, way more ski-ish. ill post pictures this weekend.

here are some pics. I used to have a 99 SN, and the wake for skiing behind the 211 is differnt is the best way to say it, the wake is a little harder and bigger but in time I think I will get used to it. when I skied 20' off I wiped out pretty good because of the wake. but like I said I hope time will help. Did it for the space and kids and so far I'm happy.

I can freeze a shot from a video clip and post it, if that is what you are looking for.

Here's the only one I have. Not a very good shot, full line at 36 mph. Maybe you can zoom in to see thw wake details.

Great wake shot. Incredible slalom wake for a boat that size.

Even Boatech (also known as Mr Negative) can appreciate that one!

thanx for the wake pics 573. nhcrossfan can bite me!! i would not call that wake incredible sorry. i understand its cc attempt at a crossover boat so i give it an ok slalom wake . what does "for a boat of that size" mean. i would call the 211 a small boat. maybe you could explain to me what you are talking about.

Thanks for the pictures everyone. And some nice cutting, lztat573!

Does anyone else have any pictures of the wakes when someone is slalom skiing behind their crossover boat? It could be the Nautique SV211, the Tige 20v, the Malibu Sunscape LSV or new Wakesetter VTX with the Diamond Cut hull, the MC X2, or any other "crossover" boat.

By the way, I always get a kick out of the manufacturer's videos on their web sites for these crossover boats. They show a skier cutting aggressively outside the wake but always do a fade-out before the person needs to cross the wake, so you can never really tell how big the wake is.

                        Thanks!

                          DonnieB,

Take a demo ski. I've skiied for years exclusively behind a 196 and 206 and found the 211 wake very enjoyable. Let us know what you think after the demo ski.

Buttery smooth slalom wake, gotta laugh at that comment, maybe compared to an X-star...

                            Here's a few pix...

my nephew at 30 or 32mph/15off and me at 34/28off.

You can see in the above photo my knees bending as I hit that "buttery smooth wake". To be fair I should say that the boat crew was a little heavy on the passenger side causing a sharp corner on the wake that I am traversing. I don't mind skiing behind the 211, being able to ski without moving people in front of the pylon is great, but it definately takes a little more effort than skiing behind a 216 or other direct drive.
