First below-freezing night of the year around here. Normally I wouldn't worry about one night of 27 degrees, but a friend of mine was worried about her boat, and her boat just happens to be one of my favorite restoration projects I ever did, so I couldn't refuse her. Plus her boat has a heater, which is always the first thing to crack in freezing weather.
Drained everything, blew out heater lines, and even ran six gallons of marine anti-freeze through it, which I don't usually do. I am usually a drain it and forget it winterizer. But I like to go the extra step for this particular boat. I even took the battery home to store it on a maintainer over the winter. Now her boat is all set for the winter.
Once I got home, I figured I had better set up my Xtreme Heaters in the Sea Nautique and in the 2002 Ski Nautique, especially since that one has a heater too. Now everything at my dock is safe as well. The 2003 Ski Nautique is inside, so no worries about that one.
