We serviced our outboard on the fishing boat we got this summer. It was nice working on it in the kitchen and not the cold outdoors.

I have not winterized the Nautique yet hoping for a freak weather warmup.

We are supposed to have a Thanksgiving get together on the river this weekend. Doesn't look very warm. May just take the fishing boat if the wind is rolling.

I am definitely going to find out this season if I winterized correctly. Be on the lookout for a discounted 200 come April (jk).

Lol. We haven't had a + sign next to our temperature for a few days. Yeah, yeah, it's Minnesota, but it's early for those temperatures even here! My temperature gauge is that when the mucous membranes in my nose freeze almost instantly and my eyelashes collect ice when I walk the dog, that qualifies as brutal cold.

3 today here in SE Michigan as I write this, yesterday it was 8. We have a feral outdoor cat we've been feeding for about 6 years, feel bad for her but we can't get her to come in the house or garage. Tried to get ahead of the game this year and built a house for her last spring. Beefed up the basic kit with reflective insulation then in the fall added straw bails on the sides, wrapped all that with a blue tarp and topped the build off with a heated bed. Hope it's enough to get her through the winter this year.

She's a lucky kitty - sounds like she is better winterized than alot of boats!!

Cold here in PA. Warming up a bit in a few days.

How'd you pull that off? Some magic insulation? My beard almost froze & chipped off while doing some work outside last week.

It was a pretty nice New Year's Day here, so I got out on the lake with our daughter and dog.

Now that's how you time a vacation. I try to snowbird it myself when winter shows up, but didn't get a chance to this year.

Zartan Thanks - we're doing our best! Although I do love my backcountry sled time in the winters, so not ready to go full snowbird quite yet. And thank goodness for PlanetNautique to keep my wake surfing stoke on during the winter!
