Hey All,
I am getting the interior of my SV211 fully retrimmed in the new year and I'm looking some potential inspiration. I am based in Ireland and have looked into getting replacement skins rom C&S but when factoring in shipping and import charges, plus the time/cost of fitting it just works out too expensive. As such I have stripped the interior and will be taking it to the UK main Nautique dealer for England who have a local guy who they use for all such upholstery work.
I am fairly sure I am going to stick to my original colours just update the logos and maybe change some sections to textured (crocodile effect) vinyl rather than smooth. But in the back of my mind I am wondering if I am missing an opportunity to change the design completely...
I have had a look through many of the restoration and show us your Nautiques threads but have only found a few that have offered any real ideas. As such I would appreciate if people could share photos of any similar projects they have undertaken themselves of similar aged Nautiques.
Below are a few pics of my current interior. The major limiting factor I can see is that this era of boat the sponge profile on the seat bases was not raised for the whole seat edge, but rather a bit of a wavy profile, so I won't be able to play around with extending different profiles the length of the whole seat base etc if you get me.
