What year is the best year of last gen 210. When I say best I mean most reliable engine, electronics, and tower. Also was their any changes to the hull or NSS during those final years. From my limited research I’m seeing 2016 was the last year of the 5.7L which I know is solid engine and would be the most easy to wrench on as I do all my own repairs. Not sure though about the linc2 display about how reliable it is compared to true touch screen in the last few years of the boats production. Any info would be appreciated.

My favorite year is the 2019. I really think this is the sweet-spot for the late-model 2x0. It had the electric actuator for the hydrogate which eliminated the handle and allowed it to be controlled by the watch. It was also the last year of the wide tower which allowed for 4 tower speakers instead of just 2.
It also had the LINC 3.0 which was much, much better than the previous years. I think LINC 2.0 ended in 2017.
All of the engine are fine. The 5.7L was plenty for the 210, but the 6.0L was solid as well. I had that engine in each of the 230s I owned.

Oh, I’d very much count the Faria Gateway as “electronic crap.” LINC is expensive to fix but at least it’s plug and play, even for the LINC 1 systems that need to upgrade to LINC 2. None of the base engines are particularly hard to work on. I think you need to go 2012 or later to get NSS. Interior got a refresh I think in 2014.
