Im an intermediate rider with handful of spins and inverts. Im seeking for advice on S23 wakeboard wake and how it may compare to the G23 wake. Any feedback is greatly appreciated

The G series wakes tend to be a little wider with more ramp at the base. My S series is a bit narrower and depending on how you weight it can get a nice lip on it. Can't go wrong either way, but if you like riding a longer line, I do feel the series will accommodate better.

I'm in my late 30's so definitely do not enjoy landing in the flats these days haha. Riding a longer line has many benefits (and some drawbacks). When you have a wake that is slightly narrower it allows you to ride a longer line and longer lines will typically have less line tension which is a huge plus any way you look at it. It also gives you more time outside the wake for different approaches to different tricks. For example a 70' line behind a G23 lets say you do a wake to wake jump and land perfectly on the transition, now you take that same exact jump behind an S series, you may find yourself landing in the flats or slightly outside the transition. In this case you could probably ride a 75' line giving you less line tension. This is also why people loved the OG 210. It had a very narrow wake. Guys like Randy Harris and many others would ride extremely long lines. The draw back to riding a longer line behind a wider wake like a G series is that you typically have to pick your speed up a bit to both get the wake to clean up further back and also get enough speed into the wake to clear it. It all comes down to your skill set, style, and preference behind the boat. Riding aside, if money is no object, the G is still a far superior model.

Honestly happy to help, not a lot of S23's out there yet, but I do love mine. If you have any other questions about it don't hesitate to reach out.
