Trying an OJ 1771 on the 2023 PN G23

OJ Props just sent over one of their 1771 propellers for the 2023 PlanetNautique G23! Can't wait to get this installed on the boat and test it out! The boat comes off the line next week, so it won't be long until I can try it.

This prop is 18 x 13.5, so it will be interesting to see how it compares to the stock Acme.

Reviving this thread a bit - curious how this prop worked? I’m in search of a spare prop for our 23 G23 and looking to find something a bit more efficient all around. OJ is right down the road from me, so was going to go see about picking one up, but curious whether or not it’s worth going up in diameter and down in pitch (we’re fairly happy with the 3433 versatility).

This is a great surf and wake prop. With the boat fully-weighted (including supplemental ballast), this prop works great.

It does turn a few more RPM at cruising speed, so it is a little less efficient there, but still great.

I am planning to use the same prop next year. I have been very happy with it.
