    My boat did not come with tanks, it's pretty much a sport.

    I'm a little confused, if you store so much in the trunk, why are you considering adding a sac back there? If thats the case, all you can really do is add steel or lead plates on top of the tanks.

    Also, I don't think you need/should add ballast to the ski locker unless you find a way to get weight in the rear first. For example, if you added a tube sac to the rear, I don't think you would need any more than that in the ski locker.

      I'm thinking that when we have a "crowd" on our boat, maybe 6-8 people, that we will use the storage (rear trunk, ski locker), but we can still fill the rear tank without filling the rear or ski locker sacks. It would be somewhat manual in that I would have to look at the tank gauges and shut the pumps off when the hard tanks are full.

      The idea for the extra ballast is for the "sessions" where riding is the only objective for the outing. I'm planning on getting some duffles to keep all of the crap in the trunk, and just leaving them out when it's a riding session.

      Does this make sense?
