    Used boat prices

With interest rates higher than we’ve seen in awhile, Covid boat craze letting up some, do you guys see the used boat prices coming down anytime soon? Or is this the new market.

I’m trying to find a 23 foot surf and wake boat for around $60. They seem tough to come by in decent shape and ready to go. Trying to decide if I should be patient or save and increase my budget or buy an older one knowing I’m going to have to put in another $10-15 to get it where I want.

You can probably find a 230 in that price range that has NSS. I forget what year it started. 2015 maybe.

I'm seeing boats for sale on FBMP sitting and more with reduced pricing. Does that mean the insanity is done? Probably not but I think a lot of covid boaters are about to be done with it. I think if you were looking for that covid flip on your boat you've missed last fall.

Around here all the travel sport are back to business as usual so that's going to compete with family anything unless it revolves around their prince or princess. The neighbor is already gone every weekend on soccer events. It's all good with me as it'll clear out the lake a bit.

That’s what I’m holding out for it seems like most of the 2013-2015 G23 are closer to $100k.

Nothing more than a data point but as of today I just bought a 2016 G25, XR7, boat mate trailer, 650 hours, in pretty darn nice condition for $105k.

Upper Midwest I did a see a few 2015-2016 Axis T23 in the mid 60’s. Floating wedge + surf gate probably makes a solid wave.

You’re going to be very hard pressed to find a 23Ft wakeboat outfitted with surf plates/tabs , turn key for 60k. Prices aren’t coming down much in used boats because new boat prices seem to immune from the market these days. This is no longer a water sport industry , this is a luxury inboard market industry and the top buyers of these boats are not effected much by the interests rates and inflation.

an older 230 with NSS can be had , but it’s very few and far between.

You can still occasionally find a 2008-2009 230 for the 50-60K. You can add aftermarket NSS like I did, and have a boat with gauges.... That is until your gateway goes bad lol. But you can still change out for gauges if you like.. IMO, the 2009 SAN 230 is one of the best boats for the buck...
