If you get a new boat, what accessories would you want…

Picking up a new boat shortly. If you were getting a new boat yourself, what “accessories” would you want right away? It’s our second boat, so we know the requirements. Just curious about what others might have or do to celebrate the new whip.

Also helpful, where to get any of those recommended accessories.

Can’t wait for the trailer to arrive so I can take delivery.

First thing I got when I got our new 230 were a new set of good bumpers. I went with the Mission ones (Amazon but available elsewhere). I also got tons of hot sauce and vinyl cleaner. After that, pretty much I just got gas and ice for the cooler.

That reminds me, I was going to look into an on the counter ice maker for this Summer.
mooneywa, I am a fan of the "Hot Sauce". I got a bottle of some new stuff, "Boat Juice", Pina Colada scent, that's gotta be good for you, lol. We'll see how it compares, anything to stave off the hard water spots, and keep the buffer on the shelf.
Congrats on the new boat dttheel! We are ready for the pictures...

Scooter G I'm a firm believer in a spray bottle with 50:50 distilled water:white vinegar to stave off water spots. It works well and is cheap. It does make my SIL gag, though.

Well now that's not bad, I actually really like that, nice job! Beauty!
I also like the fact that it doesn't have a great big rolling billboard on the side that says "SUPRA". Wait, are you guys paying me to advertise for you?
You almost have to know what is by shape and design, or get close enough to see that it is a Nautique.

Scooter G I'm all in on the 50:50 water/vinegar for the water spots. Our lake has a lot of minerals and we get them badly. Hot Sauce keeps them at bay, the mix gets rid of them. We got an under counter ice maker - KitchenAid I believe. It's enough ice in the morning to fill up a Yeti 65, a Yeti cooler bag, and then refilled enough for cocktails by the time we get back off the lake that evening. Not cheap, but worth it.

              dttheel Beautiful boat.

dttheel - Nice looking! I saw that boat at the dealer a couple of weeks ago when I picking mine up. Maybe I'll see you on the water if you are planning to do your boating on SML.
                Congrats

Sweet looking boat, I've always kept the 50/50 vinegar mix on the boat but my cousin bought some boat juice which works really well too and smells better so we use that until we find some stubborn spots and those get the vinegar.

As far as accessories, I highly recommend a good cleaning crew. Those hard water spots in Texas are brutal.....LOL Click image for larger version
