2001 Ski Nautique in Central Florida

Hello Everyone...

My name is Mark and I'm trying to locate someone who lives in the Central Florida/ Orlando area who owns a (year) 2001 Ski Nautique, and it must be a Ski Nautique... not a Sport Nautique or Air Nautque. Specifically, my company needs to find this specific boat to use in a recreation to show the wake patterns the boat creates, and to show how the boat would behave in the water. Of course, we would also need the owner to accompany the boat and my company would reimburse for any costs associated.

It is very tough as I've been looking for this exact model for a while, and as you can imagine, it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack... but if anyone happens to own one, or know someone, and could find it in them to help in this situation, it would be greatly appriciated. I would be able to provide more information to anyone who owns one or would be willing to help on exact specifics. Thanks for reading, sorry about the long post. Right, I was trying to differentiate between a 2001 Ski Nautique 196, and a 1986 Ski Nautique model 2001, that way no one would get confused... Im looking for the production year 2001... Thanks BKH for clearing that one up... and thanks Aaron, wish u were in FL

why do you need a 2001? any ski from 97-2001 has the tsc1 hull and should have nearly identical wake characteristics. that would make it easier to find someone to help you out.

As far as needing an exact model year 2001, that's a legal issue. In a recreation, the laws can be very strict, especially if the courts get involved, and they would require that everything be exactly the same, meaning the same exact model of boat, and even the same lake in some cases, even if in reality it doesn't make much sense. I think we have a lot of info on the boat, our biggest problem is actually getting one in the water, thanks though aaron.
