    Tuning 2018 G23 Surf Wake

I love my G23 but the surf wake has never been quite there for me. If I have a light load in the boat I get the best results with the rear tanks at 70%. I have tossed a bag on the front seats and can then fill the backs. I would like to add more ballast in the front but can’t find any good underfloor or seat solutions. I do have 250lbs of lead on the port side abeam the driver. That’s as much lead as I am going to put in the boat. Lead is for sinking things!
Does anyone have a good solution for more weight in the bow? Any suggestions on settings for best wake in the 2018?
    Thanks!

Surf speed and NSS settings? How much have you played with this?

For what it's worth we leaded up a little and mirrored the diagram below, but pulled 100lbs from the rear and placed it at the bow for 200 lbs in the nose. You are not going to go wrong with a little extra added weight, you just brought along a couple of extra passengers and let them ride in the trailer on the way home. For the long haul trips where the boat becomes the gear trailer, I'll pull the weight and throw it in the truck.

Thanks for the reply. For some reason can’t open the attachment. I would love to find an underfloor water ballast solution but it does not seem to be available. I have tried lots of different settings.

No help on the underfloor water ballast solution (at least for the front). I've a '17, so nearly identical boat with 500lb of lead set up as described by greggmck in the thread linked above. I typically run 0 NSS and 5 NCRS at 11.6 mph (in the TX heat) with full ballast all around, and get a stellar wave with a long, clean section and crisp break, even when it's just me, my wife, and my two daughters (3 of us weigh <450lbs). When I have a larger crew, all wanting to sit behind the windscreen, I'll take the rear ballast down to as much as 70%, and still get a great wave.

The boats are so easy, if you're not happy with your wave, it is probably broken - like maybe your NSS or NCRS isn't operating or your ballast sensors aren't reading.
