Nautique 236 FCT Gen 4 Height when Folded

    Hello,

I found a really good deal on a 236 that has (If I did my research correctly) the FCT1 Gen 4 tower shown below. The boat would be sitting on a boatmate trailer if that helps at all, but would anyone have measurements for how tall the boat is with the tower folded down? Been searching around PN and Google to see if this boat will fit in the garage but haven't been able to find measurements for this specific tower. I know this tower is supposedly the highest out of all towers in this era. I believe I have an 8ft garage door, could be 7 but almost positive its 8. Appreciate anyone's help.

I don't know measurements, but I would say no way to a 7' door. 8' maybe, but your best bet is probably asking the selling to measure it or measure it yourself, if it is local. There are too many variables involved to say for certain. One thing for sure is it'll be a tight fit if you can get it in. Also, that tower will be a beast to fold--doable, but I personally wouldn'tt want to do it regularly.

    That's a good looking boat!

Thanks Ryan, yea I was hoping for a Titan tower as I currently have the FCT1 Gen.. 2? which I fold every time. Its manageable but would love the Titan where it folds backwards. The difficult part for me is the boat is states away and does not have a trailer so can't even have the dealer selling the boat measure which is making this a wonderful problem.

Oh, bummer! A nice boat cover is cheaper than a bigger garage.

My 211 is about 3" too tall for my 7' door with the tower folded.

Another item to remember on that tower, the rear legs have bolt on extensions that need to be removed to get the tower at it's lowest (ability to fit through an opening). I believe this tower will be close on a 8' door, the Titan stainless tower from that era can fit a 7' door with the right trailer setup.
