No. I spent several hours putting together a ton of information (pictures, videos, drawings, and text). Sent everything in that first week. They completely ghosted me. No further contact and didn’t respond when I attempted to follow up. Totally understand if they used someone else’s boat for my model, but pretty annoyed with their complete lack of communication.

I sent in the information on my boat, never heard a word. Nada, zip, nothing. I get that my boat wasn't on the list, but nothing? Not even, sorry we're not looking for your boat but we can help you build out a system. Might as well have sent in the request to Santa Claus.... Wait a minute, I may be onto something there.

I get they don't owe me a thing but they could have still had a customer for an upgrade with a simple email response. I get the feeling Wake Makers has crossed over from being an enthusiast source for wake boats to being just another mail order boating supply warehouse. It wasn't that way 10 years ago but now, they're pretty much a mail order house like Overton's or Bart's. I used to believe they were into the boating scene at a different level and was willing to pay more for their products based on their customer service. Now, I shop them like all the rest. IMO they lost their way but fear not, someone else will figure out the formula again one day and the cycle will start all over again.

Bturner, completely agree. I had planned on doing some ballast upgrades this winter regardless of if anything came out of this offer. I think I made it further in the process. After the initial submission, they sent me another packet requesting specific information. I spent the better part of a day documenting everything and sent it right back to them. Based on my interactions (or lack of) with them, I no longer plan to use their product. All it would have taken is a quick email from them, but nothing.

Well, I am sorry to report that after trying to contact them for over two weeks, I haven't gotten any response either. I sent an e-mail to the founder of WakeMakers this afternoon. We'll see if he responds.

All I can say right now is that I am sorry I wasted your time with this. I'll keep you all posted if I hear anything.

I am suspending their advertising until this is resolved.

I bought a ballast upgrade from them on 11/24 and it still hasnā€™t shipped and no change in order status. I emailed them yesterday and no response yet either. Not a huge rush but an estimate would be nice.
