I love the surfer girl. The local kids think they invented this sport in the last few years. The more things change...

The pictures sure bring back fun memories. My family bought a used red 1967 cc mustang in 1974. It had a 289 which was a little soft for 36 mph slalom runs so we took a 351 out of a ford torino, changed the cam to run backwards and shoehorned it in. Ralph Maloon told us the boat would porpoise and sink. When we wound her up, she did start to jump pretty bad.

We still have that old boat becouse none of us has the heart to get rid of her. Despite pulling us through 36 mph, 22 off on a wooden obrien, I would hate to try the course behind her now that I am spoiled. Her wake is clearly a precourser of a wakeboard wake, even without ballast.

Anyway, thanks for posting the pics. I am going to foward them to my dad, I know he will enjoy them.

I thought they refused to put bikinis in their brochures.

I guess you learn something new everyday.
