I get the feeling the target base is not going to do a thing from a maintenance or logistical perspective with their boat. Pretty sure this crowd is going to be the type where even the "dudes" are getting manny-petty's. I'm sure they'll be some one-offs but in general this is going to be a hands off group when it comes to well, anything. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Wow, there is a lot of "flair" going on with the design and my eyes are pulled all over the place. From a practical standpoint, I don't see how I could keep all those angles and crevices at a respectable level of clean. As a Floridian, I like to hide from the sun and that bimini seems way too high to provide shade in the right locations. Fortunately, I do not have to worry about the price because this is a surf boat and surfing has become so boring to pull and watch it would never crack my wallet. However, with all that freeboard and big comfy seats, it would be a nice place to take a relaxing nap.

How can they possibly charge that kind of money and consider the boat world class without power board racks????
This is all in good fun of course. I will say I'm surprised we've been allowed to go this far. I know of another forum where this type of blasphemy would have been shut down immediately. My hat is off to our exceptional moderator. I promise I'm done poking fun at this incredible, over the top boat that I obviously will never be able to afford or ride in.

I am happy for the success that Nautique has, and their management has obviously done well - but as others have stated, those of us that have bought Correct Crafts in years past (and theoretically yes, helped build to an extent, the brand, it would at least be nice to see them support parts availability for the older boats... (I.E. gateways). It is sad to have to have to find someone to reverse engineer something that Nautique and Faria had a spat over. And no the replacement gauge offering isn't even close to being a good comparison...

I will give kudos to the rudder assist on the power steering, that is amazing, along with the wave.
I don't know if it's just my rig, or it seems like I've seen it mentioned a few times from others, the steering wheel tug is pretty intense when we are surfing. When my wife is doing her marathon surfing around the whole lake, I need to change out arms a time or 3 to keep from cramping. Great shoulder workout.

What wasn't working for me, noisy, real noisy. I yelled at my Buddy, "Hey do you usaully surf at this speed?" He look down, and yells back what, 11.3? Oh sorry I thought we were doing 20 mph. Also, the clicking of the shifter in and out of forward, nuetral, and reverse. A very, annoying loud audible click, multitude of clicks, when fetching a downed surfer.
It's the little things you look for, that Nautique has really gotten right at the end of the day.
