Very cool boat, but, a nice "facelift" to the existing Paragons. $423k list puts this sooooo far out of consideration for my boating future, it really doesn't matter what I think! Seriously, what is the buyer demo for these boats?

IDK, its looks to me that they're trying too hard. Throw pillows? Who's that for? Guess this is what the surf people class want/need.

I'm sure it's over the top nice and well built but just not even close to my cup of tea, not that it would matter, they left my universe at $100K.

Nautique makes a nice boat, but you're gonna pay to play. I dreamed of a Nautique for years, but I just couldn't justify the cost. I actually had one of the first S21/S23 slots if I wanted it. Base motor, telescoping tower/trailer 195k. But the one year old G boats were cheaper with way more features. It seems Nautique and all the brands keep upping the price so they can bring in budget models that have no business at the price point they are. I guess if we could see the balance sheets and mark up maybe I would have a different opinion. It just seems to me all the tow boat companies are getting greedy, not just knocking Nautique.

Nautique should revamp/rerelease the 210/230 for under 100k out the door. Get rid of the screens and frills. Just a sick wake/surf machine. And also add an affordable ski or crossover. I'm sure they would sell a lot of those but continue to sell the premium boats as well.

Let's remember here that Nautique is in the luxury watersports boat market. They do not generally build "budget boats". That's just not their market. Correct Craft owns other companies that specialize in that, like Supreme.

The Paragon has always (even way back in the early-90's when the Ski Nautique Paragon came out) taken that already luxurious watersports boat and made it even more luxurious than the existing standard Nautique models.

Yes, the Paragons are absolutely expensive boats, but the pursuit of the perfect luxury wakeboat is what the idea of the Paragon is all about. Paragons are built for the buyer who wants the absolute best in luxury while also having world-class wakes and waves.

I wouldn't count on seeing Nautique build anything like a budget-based 210 anytime soon. Of course, I have been wrong before, but that's my take.

I would be willing to bet that Nautique will sell out their production slots for the new Paragons quickly.

I did get to surf the Paragon G23 this morning, and it was really a great experience.

Here are the surf waves without riders so that you can see how clean they are. These are unedited, straight from my phone, on shallow Robin Lake at Callaway Gardens.

Here's the crazy part. This is at setting 2 (!!), WITHOUT the supplemental ballast full. We had nine people on the boat, and most were smaller people.

One thing that I don't think has been mentioned is the new steering system.

The power steering system in these boats allows the rudder to automatically compensate for NSS switching the wave from side to side, and keeps the driver from needing to correct the steering when the transfer happens. This is really nice. If you have ever driven a heavily-weighted surf boat and switched the wave side while underway, you know what I am talking about.

I know this is a crappy video and doesn't really show it as well as it could, but you get the idea.

And here are the two leaders of the teams responsible for these boats, Steve Carlton and Eric Miller. Steve is the Chief Designer at Nautique, and Eric is the Chief Engineer. Steve and Eric are great people who enjoy helping others (a quality that most at Nautique have). They have amazing talent, and luckily they use some of that talent to build the boats we all enjoy.

Maybe they should come with a navigation system that keeps them 200 ft from shore, as most new G owners love to surf the shore lines to show off their new Paragon

Different class of people this is geared toward. Min just don’t get it. More like a yacht world add than a wakeboat.
