    Ordering new 206 Limited

I ordered a new 206 (end of Feb.) loaded, 5.7 engine and tower. Any idea how long it will take for delivery? Dealer told me mid-late May, but this seems too long. Dealer also said they wanted my "old" boat sooner, but I'd rather keep it until the new one is ready... any thoughts on this?

More than likely they want your boat to get it sold or they already have it sold. As far as delivery on your new one, I would say early to mid May is about right. I know they are running full tilt right now. What colors did you order? By the way, where are you located?
    Congrats!!

I don't mind having my 'old' boat available for a demo, but want to be able to ski until the new one is ready.

Great color combo. Should look alot like my 2003 without the third stripe and black window frame.

They want the boat ASAP to sell it before all the summer shoppers roll in. Giving it up now will only put you out of a boat. Them selling it shouldn't be your concern, I'd keep it until my new one arrived.

I also ordered a boat this week - 211 Team addition. I was told delivery would be late May, but could be mid May. I guess the dealers hold a couple of spots in the production schedule or something. No matter, we are excited - this our first ski boat, Nautique,... it will be cool.

I am currious about the sound system though. My wife was adament about getting speakers on the tower (4) and the ones I have seen look like coffee cans - I like the looks of the Invert style, cone shaped speakers. Any recommendations?

Also, I spent a day with Greg Meloon up on Crooked Lake last fall and he mentioned a problem with speakers on the tower and the colaps feature - like maybe the wires or connection could become weak. This was during the same time CC was having problems with Invert - is this problem resolved and how are the speakers affected when taking down the tower?

Congrats on the new boat. I have no clue about the speakers themselves. The tower and speakers will be wired in a way that won't affect you folding down the tower itself. I do know that CC backed out of the deal with Invert for a couple of different issues and I believe one of them was the quality factor and I think another was their ability to come through with the product in a timely fashion.

What do you think about a black hull w/ a grey stripe - picture looks sharp, but I am affraid it will be hard to maintain?

If you trailer alot or have a shallow hoist, the hull will show a lot of the scratches. You will also see the waterspots a lot more unless you are crawling under to wipe off the boat all the time. Aside from that, it would be a great looking boat!

As far as colors go, which have been found to show fewest scratches and water spots.

Our boat will be on a lake-side lift and little difficult to clean from the dock, so it may be best to avoid a tough color combo.

What about a Red Haul with a black stripe?

Order has been placed but may be able to be altered at this early date.

I also ordered a 211 this week. Still waiting for a build date, but dealer is talking late May.

We are considering a black hull also. If you go black and titanium stripe, what were you going to do with the interior?

Let us know what you decide....

Would be very interested in hearing what features sold JMark and Liquidream on the 211. We are seriously considering this boat vs the 210.....

What are you wanting to do with the boat? If you want to wakeboard 90+ percent of the time, get a 210. If you want to do some more skiing, get a 211. The 211 also features more storage space if that is a concern for you. The 211 is shorter and wider than the 210. Hope this helps. If you need more help, let me know!

The features that sold us on the 211 were:

Walkthrough. The family loved that they didn't have to climb over the seat.
Wake characteristics for skiing or wakeboarding.
                              Size. Fits in my garage.
