Differences between the G23 and the S23

Hello, I was wondering if you guys can give me an education on what are the differences between the G23 and the S23. It's hard to find any information on the internet about these boats. I would like to know which one surfs the best and the different features that can be on these boats.

jackstewart23 both surf well but the G23 surfs better. In addtion IMHO you get much more for your money in a G23 vs S23. I don't really understand the price point on an S23 considering it is Nautique's so called budget boat model

I haven't surfed or wakeboarded behind an S23, but visually it looks good. On the interior, the main difference is there is more storage in a G (there's also a little more passenger room in the G because it's a bit wider along the entire length of the boat). The G23 keeps many things under the floor (e.g. batteries, cooler, supplemental ballast). On the S, these things are above the floor and take up storage space. I can't remember how the trash can is handled in the S. There are other, more minor differences, that make the G feel a bit more luxurious--like the speaker covers and the fact that the seat bottoms are hinged on the G. IMHO, the S gets you a boat that is close to the G for less money--it's just personal preference wrt whether the price difference is worth it.

Once you option out the S it really is not much cheaper than the G at the end of the day

And I'd bet the G will hold value better than the S, I might end up being wrong on that but as stated once it's well appointed just get the G unless you're trying to stay under a budget or a weight limit.

The S surfs really well but not as well as a G with supp ballast. The S does have less storage and the beam is smaller on the S, not by much but it does have more of an impact than you would think especially if you plan on having a larger crew (6+). However, the S is definitely not an entry level boat. It doesn't feel like it and it doesn't surf like an entry level boat either. When setting up the ballast it does favor a little more weight on the side you're surfing but nothing that can't be fixed with saving rider profiles. Best of the Best go G, but if you like the S and none of the mentions of the above are terribly important you'll be happy with an S.
