    G23 factory prop?

Anyone know the specs for the 2024 G23 prop? Is it sufficient to run that boat at sea level with the supplemental ballast? Does anyone replace it with something different for better performance? I was going to order a second prop and didn’t know if I should get the exact same one or something different

I can only speak for the 450 engine but on those I’m pretty sure they’re still using the ACME 3433. It’s been a good prop for us and I bought an exact replacement. It'll get up to surf speed easily even with full ballast and full crew. On a larger crew (8+) it can have issues getting up to cruising speed (20+ MPH) with everything full. I don't think that scenario is worth dropping pitch over though.

On my 2021 I replaced the stock prop with an OJ 1771-MF. Its an 18X13.5. It has a better hole shot and lowered RPM by ~200 at surf speeds but I lost a bit of top speed which doesn't matter to me. These boats are tractors not race cars. Kept the stock as a back up

I spoke to Acme and they suggested possibly trying either a 3917 18.125x13.5 or possibly a 3965 18.125x14. Thinking it might be nice to try out the 3917 and see the difference.
