I had an opportunity to ride behind the 2024 P25 yesterday and I have to say it lived up to the hype. I've surfed a lot of boats and it was by far the best experience I've had. I've always liked the length behind an X24 but the lip/transition is soft, which makes it a little more challenging when doing airs. The P25 is longer, has a ton of push all the way back in the white wash and stays firm all the way through. You can make it tall and steep or flat and long but it never loses the push or the firm characteristic, which I loved. Unfortunately, I didn't get to wakeboard (which I like more than surfing) but given the industry is surf first these days I figured people would appreciate the feedback. It looks better in person than the previous hull design with the changes to the bow. I'm also pleased to report it doesn't cause any increase in spray with chop or when going over your own wave (I was worried about that). The storage in the rear compartments is pretty awesome, as you can fit any size surfboard in there. However, a wakeboard will not fit, so I'd still recommend the tower board racks for this. The lack of engine noise is also quite impressive.
Either way, it produces an amazing wave and I want to throw a big shout out to Chris Denchel at Desert Valley Powersports for getting me behind that beast! I can't say enough good things about that dealership.
