    2024 p25

I had an opportunity to ride behind the 2024 P25 yesterday and I have to say it lived up to the hype. I've surfed a lot of boats and it was by far the best experience I've had. I've always liked the length behind an X24 but the lip/transition is soft, which makes it a little more challenging when doing airs. The P25 is longer, has a ton of push all the way back in the white wash and stays firm all the way through. You can make it tall and steep or flat and long but it never loses the push or the firm characteristic, which I loved. Unfortunately, I didn't get to wakeboard (which I like more than surfing) but given the industry is surf first these days I figured people would appreciate the feedback. It looks better in person than the previous hull design with the changes to the bow. I'm also pleased to report it doesn't cause any increase in spray with chop or when going over your own wave (I was worried about that). The storage in the rear compartments is pretty awesome, as you can fit any size surfboard in there. However, a wakeboard will not fit, so I'd still recommend the tower board racks for this. The lack of engine noise is also quite impressive.

Either way, it produces an amazing wave and I want to throw a big shout out to Chris Denchel at Desert Valley Powersports for getting me behind that beast! I can't say enough good things about that dealership.

I too got to ride behind the new P23 yesterday thanks to the crew at Buxton! The new Paragon is fantastic, more of an evolution of the wave than vastly different, it felt like the wave behind my boat but it's firmer especially on the top/lip of the wave and noticeably so. The one I rode behind has the supplemental ballast where my boat does not (wasn't an option) so I don't know if that's a huge difference but I think the new wave was longer as well, again, could be the supplemental. I thought the throw pillows were a dumb option, but this boat had them and if you sit in the back corners they do make it more comfortable for sure. When I first saw the pics online especially out of the water on a trailer I didn't really like the new bow design, but on the water it looks awesome! The trash can access is also much better and the personals drawer is nice as I didn't have to dig through the glove box to find my wallet, keys, and phone when we were done. The new Sea Dek is also cool, it's thicker and has a sweet design to it. Driving it is also great and I loved that when a rider switches sides while underway the steering auto corrects it's self to compensate so you as the driver don't have to do anything at all, which is awesome!

If you already have a Paragon then the upgrade would depend on your situation, but if you don't have a Paragon but have the means, I HIGHLY recommend it!
