I am curious if anyone has had a chance to compare the new Paragon 23 hull to the old version or the new G23? With the boat price slump 2020-2022 Paragons seem to be dropping in price rapidly. Seems like a low hour used Paragon might be a better buy than a new G23. Is the hull on the new model that much better?

IDK..... depends on what the difference in price would be. I think if I were in that market today I would do a ton of research on what used is going for then head to the dealer with those prices. I've heard a ton of rumors that incredible deals are now being made by dealers. Since I have no clue what someone buying a $200K + surf boat is thinking or what their finances look like or how they manage their money going into one of these deals, financing may or may not come into play. I've got a feeling dealers are going to have an inside track with financing in this market. Then again, does the average Paragon buyer worry about financing or do they just have their valet Jeeves carry a brief case of cash in at time of purchase? I really wouldn't have a clue.

They are offering great deals on new G23’s. You can get a new G23 for less than a Paragon one or two year old boat. Local dealer still has 10 or 11 2023 G23’s and 25’s in stock. There was apparently some factory help to move the boats but dealer says that has gone away. Strange time to cut off the trunk money. 25 to 30% off is doable.
