    GS20 vs GS22

Has anyone skied and surfed both the GS20 and GS22? I owned a 2017 GS22 and absolutely loved that boat, I sold it thinking I was getting out of surfing and wakeboarding, but life happens so I'm back in the market for another. The 22 had a good surf wave and a fair ski wake, I understand the hull has changed making the surf wave better, but what are the differences in the 20 and 22 in regards to overall wave and wake, does the 20 ski better? is the 20 surf wave comparable to the 22?

i've had both. 22 skis better and had a longer wave. however, the 22 carried more ballast weight and also had an H6.
the new hull design supposedly makes the wave even better.
the new '23 redesign makes the boat very big. looks like a G.
I would go with a 22 again personally

When I bought the 22 I was sitting in a 20 and couldn't stop wondering where peoples legs would go while seated. The new boat will be on a lift and I'll have another boat available for non sporting activities so I was hoping the 20 would ski a little better. After looking at the specs though, the 20 is only a couple of hundred pounds lighter than the 22 so even though it's smaller it has to displace almost the same amount of water with less surface area to displace it, I can see why the 22 would ski better.
