wake on new SAN 210 w/ Hydro Gate..

I am looking into buying a new 07 SAN 210, but my dealer can't get one in till Jan-Feb. I have ridden behind the 220 with the hydro gate and I like how if rounds off the lip on the wake makeing it a little more mellow . I ride with people from beginner to advanced and I am alittle concerned about the reputaion the 210 has, does any one know what affect the Hydro Gate has on the 07 because I won't have a look for another three months.

I have heard that the hydro-gate on the new 210 has two "wakeboard" modes. One apparently makes the wake shaped more steeply w/ less give (old school 210), and the other mode is supposed to round the tip off and give more of a ramp, like the 220... I dont think very many have ridden behind it yet, and I think dealers have a limit on how many they can get, so I'd expect them to go quick... If you have the time, I'm sure if you could get down to Orlando you could test drive one either at the new factory lake or SECC. I wish I knew more but so far the wake characteristics are not very known to the public at this time...

That's what I am finding out....

So far I am finding out pretty much what you said about no one really knowing a whole lot. I really don't mind the seating of the 220, and the dealer has an 06 demo that he doesn't want to come down on the money so I figured I would just wait on the 210 to come in. Looks like the new 07 210 is actually wider than the 220, I am really interested to get inside it and see how much bigger it feels than the old 210's. Thanks for your help.
