    210 Surf Wake

Thought I would share a pic of the Wake we were surfing behind the 210 yesterday. Full Tanks, Wedge Sacs in each locker, 180kg's lead in the nose and 6 people. (Riders 6ft tall)

This is our first full wakesurfing season and loving it.....

    Cheers

why would you fill the tanks on each side. Seems counter productive to me.

My bad CM540, it should read, we only fill the sac on the port side, the tank I leave empty.

I have found having some weight on the Port Side rear has helped reduce the amount of "boat spin" you get when you back off after a fall. If you had a rookie driver it was pretty risky.

Another thing was that we were struggling with how close the pocket was to the boat but the extra weight and increased speed last week seemed better to help.

      Cheers

I see what you are saying.

Do you put a bag up front at all? That will also help move the pocket back. Also what I tell inexperienced drivers is that when I fall to ease off the throttle and then just reverse and I will paddle to them.

Here is how I set up my nauti for surfing. Check it out and see what you think.

I fill the belly and the starbooard tanks. Then I put a bag on top of the starboard tank, one on the starboard side in the nose, one on the floor behind the driver, and then one layed over the seat and bag behind the driver. If it is only me and maybe 2 other people, I find a way to prop another bag on that side.

Obviously like this the boat handles horribly, but the surf wave is unreal so it is worth it to me.

The picture of the wave isn't the best because it doesn't even show the bottom, but you can see how far back you can go.

I like the 210 surf wake! It's really good with a little weight in it...

I surfed the 220 this summer and I gotta say it is easier to make and way better. I have an 02 210 also and I can't surf it after riding behind that friggin' 220.

I plan on surfing behind the 220 some time in the near future. I know with malibus the trick is to put the wedge down half way. How bout the 220. Is there anything I should know when playing with they hydrogate?

i've found the best way to load the boat is to fill the back tanks, then i got 250kg of lead that i sit on top of the tank . all on the side that where riding on. then sit every one that side as well. then you need someone to hang out off the tower. this will clean the wake up.
i also have to tape up the airvent and the locker on the side where riding on because water laps over the side of the boat. the first time i tryed this i nearly sunk the boat. it took 45mins for the bilge pumps to drain to boat. next time i go out i'll get some pics
o and to move the ride pocket back just go faster you will be able to surf back up to 10m.
                  cheers
