G21 please help with year changes 2016-2018

Hi guys i am finally upgrading my 2006 220. I really want a g21 and have done so much reading to choose that over the 230 and gs22. i have a 24' garage so thats all that will fit. prices are still bonkers. Please please can you help me understand if I will be sorry for a 2015 instead of a 17 or 18? i watched all the vids and read the threads. (adam wensink makes all the years sound so amazing) I thought i needed a 2016 , at least, due to hull splash issues, but now im not sure that wasnt just the g23. are there going to be major changes that will make me wish I got the 2018 over the 2016?

The Hull on the G21 didn’t have any tweaks like the G23 did, The differences after 15 were the stereo went to JL, and the screen changed, The throttle assembly changed and the tower is slightly different. Can’t think of anything else

Did the 2018 have the LINC Panoray? I can't remember what year that started. Nevertheless, the LINC system dramatically improved over the years.

        2016 hull change for G23 and G25. Not G21
2017 new Linc display and wavefront audio
2018 higher tower and steering assist

What a relief. So does that mean the g21 wasn't taking on water and having the bow splash issue like the 15'g23 ? Is the tower a big enough deal to pay an extra 15 k for a 2018 vs a 2015 ?

Doesn't seem like enough changes to be worth 110k vs 85k?

The bow is DEFINITELY the wet seats when surfing into the wind, and there wasn’t a hull change until 2021. 2015 moved to throttle by wire and I think added automatic ballast through hull valves, though that may have been 2016. 2017 added LINC Panoray and a new tower and JL speakers, but the stereo is the Polk PA4A, which has a reputation for poor stability / glitchiness. 2018 changed to a JL head unit and beefier ballast pumps (those might have been 2017). Fill/empty time went roughly from 13 to 9 minutes. 2019 made the power tower standard and cut the aft end of the windshield off. 2020 the power tower was an option again. 2021 was the new hull.
