    GPS speed control?

    Does anyone have experience with a GPS speed control unit?

    Lots of discussion on this on the Nichols slalom board. Sounds like one person has actually skied behind it and it has been used in one tournament. Punch in the speed and you are done. No kx, skier weight, etc. GPS speed based instead of RPM (Perfect Pass). Great system if it works. From what I have read it uses a much, much higher sampling rate to provide acurate speed. Would be great for drivers intimidated by setting up PP.
    Initially it appears that the unit will be available for boats with Drive by Wire and will require the replacement of the engine ECU. Hopefully they will make them for cable throttle boats in the future. First units shipping Q1 07.
    Would be perfect for me but I'm not sure if I could convert my 05 ZR6 to TBW.
