    Trade-in value '08 SV211 for my '15 Ski Team 200 OB

Skiers in a lake kinda close to us want out of their '07 SV211 for better slalom wakes, so looking at my Ski 200.
On the flip side my kids wanna surf and have fun. So I was looking at older Sports or a classic Super Sport.

    Specs on the '07 SV211
    300 hours
No tower, no ballast, no speed control
    "Bayliner" blue
    "Bayliner" gavlanized trailer
    Cover
Looks pretty clean, might need steering cable.

Any ideas on an approx trade-credit on my 2015? (West coast/Canada)

Or if stocks rebound , there is a GORGEOUS 2020 G23 for sale on our lake 5mins away, OMG. But that is so much boat, and not skiable for me.

The final alternative is to keep the SN200 and sac it. I have a wake-shaper on order.

Look at comps on ski-it-again, but my guess is your 200 is around $55k in this market assuming 600 hrs on the engine . Many people want the 6.0 or 6.2L engines, the 343 is totally adequate but once you’ve experienced the 200 with the bigger motor there’s no going back :-). On the plus side, your vintage SN200 is a better boat (IMHO) than the revised design of the 200 starting in 2019.

one down side with the 2007 211 is I believe the speed control will need to be perfect pass/stargazer given the wake boats and cross overs were a year behind the SN’s on the change over to zero off, nor sure if that matters to you.

finally - make sure you ski the 211 before agreeing to swap boats as the wakes are not the same :-)

Thanks for the ZO/PP info to check out. My 200 is listed at 49K USD 975 hrs. Fully optioned tho, other than the 343.
I might hang up the slalom ski this year, working on the leg, back, hip, restoring posture and took a ton of needling therapy to get fixed. Still working with the hypervolt gun and daily stretching.

I think I'll say 50% off my price for trade of the SV211. It's a boat that's a bit of a tougher sell for next year. I like the idea of the more modern 200V.

There is now a big surplus of wakeboard/wakesurf boats out there, so the market is not the same as ski boats. The Mastercraft and Nautique dealers near my lake has lots of wakeboard boats on the lot, zero ski boats.

side note my friend had a 200v for a single season, IMHO, it’s unskiable at long line lengths (15 & 22 off). If you ski short line at 36 mph you can run the course behind it, longer lengths, not a chance…

While the 200v won’t ski like a regular 200 it will ski better than the 211. My family has had both, the 211 is much more sensitive to any additional weight.

Looks like the trade is on for the SV211, for a week out. So spent the better part of this week polishing & cleaning up the SN200. Lot of surface area, OMG. Hull touch-up and polish, vinyl/seat clean, carpet scrub, clean out compartments. Engine oil change & test start-up.

The trailer is from 2013, looked a bit nasty and had these metal diamond plate steps. So using a bodyman trick (thin wire pull) removed them replaced with some EVA deck I had a roll of. Repainted sections of the trailer as well.

The SV211 will be a bit of a project. It has low hours but needs speed control, ballast installed, tower, EVA (instead of carpet) and I am going to get rid of the "Air" decal which is idk what.

Today was trading day, for boats.

So the SV211 is in fine shape but dated so we'll do a stylin' resto mod project
              Specification calls for:

Choose your pleasure (ski, surf, board orfoot) in timeless design and style
Coffee in the morning, with pain au chocolate, on board.
Walnut flooring and accoutrements over the white and Monaco blue
              Walnut steering wheel and shifter
              Teak swim platform
              Chromax lettering (decals delete)
              Requisite Zero Off
              Ballast system

Not so sure about the tower tho!
PS: Trailer is stout but a nasty thing

I don't think you can put ZO on an '07 211 (unless it's perhaps a late-'07 boat). Mine has a Perfect Pass Stargazer.

Yes I'm thinking I should stay Canadian anyway and the price would be better. So leaning toward Perfect Pass. They have a good package for these boats from what I can see.

I installed the StarGazer in mine a couple years ago and have been happy with it.
