You just know someone thinks this looks great. Perfect example of how to take 2 grand off a boat's value spending 2 grand on an "upgrade".

So, apparently this is a "Big Air" tower that someone spent $1899 on for just the tower. There is good news though, for a limited time you get a free vest with the purchase of the tower.....

You know usually you can find a boat that just about any tower would look at home on. I'm stumped on this one but then again beauty is in the eye of the beholder. At least that's what I've been told.....

That tower is hideous, too much monster garage-gone-wild metal for the hull.
I am looking at the Reborn tower for the SV211 if my deal goes down next week. https://www.reborntower.com/wakeboard-tower/143 (it does not have a factory tower, which I don't like anyway)

A tower is great for newbie slalom starts, trick skiing. That upward pull has to be beneficial.

For the 211, a Roswell Aviator Pro tower is a great fit. You might check that one out before you buy that other one.

I've always wondered how decks not designed in the 'narrow base tower' era support the new tower styles. The early tower styles had a very wide footing which would have distributed the load in a significantly different manner than the new narrow base style. I would think that the underlying deck design would be different to best support a narrow load point.

NautiqueJeff - you're retrofitted new tower like the Roswell on a older boats. Thoughts on this?

There is a certain thickness that the fiberglass needs to be to support these towers. I can't remember what it is exactly right now, but you measure the thickness and if it doesn't meet spec, you can build it up using fiberglass and resin and their backing plates. All of the ones I have done didn't need to be built up. Most Nautiques don't. The backing plates are usually all that's needed. All of the needed info is in the instructions.

The raised section behind the windshield on a 226 is the perfect size for the Aviator Pro:
