    Shipping Boat. Use Shrinkwrap?

Hello. I’ll be moving about 2,000+ miles away and shipping my boat across the country. I’d like to shrink wrap it to protect it from road grime, rain, etc. I see boats being shipped from dealerships all of the time with shrinkwrap. How do I find someone to do that to my boat? I have a 200V boat.

Look up a local marina or boat shop or dealer , google boat shrink wrapping near me. You’ll find one and yes it’s a great idea

I believe the original shrink wrap from Nautique has a felt lined on the interior side. This prevents gelcoat from being scratched if dust/sand gets caught in the wrap. I paid extra to wrap my boat with it when shipping across Canada. If you don't find this product, you could just tape some geotextile strips at key areas before wrapping.

      good luck !
