those are pretty cool.. but i think that mountain dew-sponsored dash shot is my fav b/c its the first one i've seen that gives you a real idea of how low profile it is...

Surf wake

Which way does the prop spin on the 07 210. On my 05 210 it's right which suits me because I surf goofy and the wake is best on the starboard. The 06 changed to spin left so I'm assuming the 07 will spin left as well.

The Wake looks pretty good both ways in those photos (For the life of me I can't get a decent wake on the port side for natural riders behind my 210)

Why cant you get a good wake on the port side? I understand its not AS good, but my friend has an '04 210 TE and has no prob surfing normal on that side...

edit: btw, there is no extra ballst than the people you see.... port filled all the way, and some fraction of the belly... starboard empty of course...

Does that 1% cover the direct drives?

Haha Yellow_Flash_Colorz: that 1% is just insurance. The 210, 211, 220, and 236 all have left hand rotation, while the 226 will remain right hand roatation for 2007. I believe after that everything will be run on the new PCM V-Drive. I love mine, it was so easy to winterize, just pull the plug out on the front of the drive and let it drain. Anyhow hope everyone has a great holiday season, and Merry Christmas!

Actually, when I saw an '07 196 in the showroom of a dealer, I could have sworn that it was LH rotation also.. but that was just at a quick glance and I could be mistaken...

Can anyone tell me which direction an 07 SV211 spins (for sure) and what side the wake for surfing is stronger on?

It seems to me that right hand rotation (clockwise when viewed from the rear) would cause the boat to torque to the left (port side) when viewed from the rear, causing a better port side, or standard side surf wake.

Am I missing something?

maybe it's the angle of the picture, but those wake pics don't look that good, especially when compared to the wake that clubmyke showed us on his 211.

Yep, that wake doesn't look big at all, my 220 wake with 4 people, belly and port ballast full are allmost double the size of that...

surf wake

trust me, the wake is good for stock ballast, port or starboard sides. IE: I sack my san with 1200pds on the starboard side, and I have a big wake to surf on, so I somewhat know surf wakes, and this 07 210 would put out a bigger wake than club mikes with the same amount of ballast that he currently runs..... and he has a big wake!
