    surf wake

trust me, the wake is good for stock ballast, port or starboard sides. IE: I sack my san with 1200pds on the starboard side, and I have a big wake to surf on, so I somewhat know surf wakes, and this 07 210 would put out a bigger wake than club mikes with the same amount of ballast that he currently runs..... and he has a big wake!

    my two cents.

another pic with the stock tank full.

btw, here are some pics from bens x-45....

this was a smige bigger than my 211 (aka caddywampus)... however, the 211 had a little bit better back door drive..this may change given more weight on the x-45 (this was the first time ben "sacked it out")..

btw, take a look at that picture with ben next to the wake with his hand extended....

              RE: surf wake

Daltonhouse -- I'm goofy like you . . .and looks ilke my next boat will be a Centurion 'cause all the '07s use left hand prop. DEFINITELY not as good IMO. Right hand is where it is at and Centurion will build it either way you want.

I agree with mike-d. The 07 210 has a good surf wake on both sides and does not take a huge weight swing to make it work. You can see in the pictures that the boat does not list very far.

The pics below are of a 07 210 with additional weight setup for wakeboarding. Just by emptying either rear tank and half of the bow tank produced the surf wake. I did not get a chance to rearanged the weight to see how big it can get, sorry. The pic of me surfing is as far back on the wave as I could get.

                Enjoy.

you guys are trunking it ? how long ago was this ?

it looks like the 210 has awesome potential (the is not optimzied for surfing so it is hard to say "what is....is").

what is really interesting is the long transition/back door ( the rear barrel), the face of the pocket looks a little short ( try dumping the belly tank all together, it really shortens the height all the way around)..

what speed & position is the hydrogate?

                    clubmyke,

That is Florida three weeks ago. Man it's nice down there.

The gate was up, speed was round 11 mph, and the curl started to break on to the face when we took more weight out of the belly tank. The new 210 takes a different setup than the old one and say a 211 (like "cattywampus") and 226. The boat seems to work well with more of its hull digging through the water. I look forward to spending more time in the new 210 and playing around with the surf wake.

I will say it again, "Easiest Nautique to surf on both sides, just empty the opposite rear tank and go surf."

I will post some wake shots with additional wake in the coming days.

                    Thanks,
                    Mark D.

                      lake

                      Mark D.
I was going to ask what lake you were on, it looked familiar. My lake house in on the butler chain, your pictures looked like they were taken on one of the lakes? where were you riding? How much weight did you put in the boat for wakeboarding? I wanted to sack it up when I demoed it last month, two 750 in the back etc. etc. 500 on top of the locker etc. etc. I think the extra weight would help this boats wake out, it sure does need it....

                      Mike

                          mike-d,

Lake Hart was the name of the lake. When we wakeboarded we ran about the same weight. The boat and wake worked best with most of the weight in the middle and an almost even amount between the nose and stern. I am going to post some wake shots soon.

                          Later,
                          Mark D.
