I was looking at going to the Okeeheelee Ski park (yes there is actually a public water ski park) in West Palm beach this winter with the family to spend some time on the slalom courses. But when I read the rules, a 99 Sport Nautque is not allowed in the park because it is not on the USA Approved Towboat list. But I see Sport Nautiques from 93 to 95 and the 2000 on the list (which is the same Hull as the 99), the 03 and 04 216, SV-211 and of course all the pure slalom models. Anyone know how this works - why are some models on the approved list, but not others ?

It all depends on what the manufacturer sends to be tested that year...and it costs $ to have them tested.
