Interior Wipe Down Product Poll

Another day, another product poll. What is your regular (daily) interior wipe down product? I included 303, but we'll have another poll upcoming on interior protectants used periodically.

For "daily" wipe down I just use a wet towel to make sure there isn't any excessive water, dirt, etc. Periodic cleaning I've been using various vinyl cleaning products followed by 303.

Just a wet towel for me too on the daily wipe down, and both babe's seat soap and 303 for periodic cleaning.

To be clear, 303 is a brand, and they make more than one product.

Typically, when people refer to 303 in a marine environment, they are referring to 303 Aerospace Protectant, which is not a cleaner.

That said, 303 does indeed make a marine cleaning product (several, actually).

Ya, but a lot of people use 303 Protectant in their "daily" wipe down routine, which is why I included it in this poll, and a future protectant poll.

Also, I have heard that the different types of aerospace 303 protectants are all the same - and the marine branded stuff is just a different label for marketing. But can't confirm.

Damp towel and/or Vinyl Sauce, for no reason other than I got a gallon jug on closeout a few years ago.

So keep in mind:

303 is a protectant, and a very good one. It is NOT a cleaner.

If you need to clean the vinyl, then I personally like Spray 9 Marine. That'll clean it, then go back over it with 303 to protect it.

Babes Seat Soap for regular cleaning and wipe downs - love how it both smells and leaves the seats feeling. Get the gallon when it goes on sale.

Spray Nine for the seasonal deep scrub.

303 UV protection a couple times a season.

Shiny Supply products are awesome. Shine Supply aftermath for boat wipe down….but all of their other stuff is excellent for boat maintenance as well.

You piqued my interest in Shine Supply; they're names are terrible--they don't really tell you what they're for. Wake Up, Sunsetter, Smooth Move, Chop Top...
I might still try them out, though.

Agree on the names, they are confusing. But their website has all the details for each product and how to use them. For the boat, I use ceramic products since I have it ceramic coated. I use aftermath when I pull it out out of the water as a general wipe down. I also use punch it to reload the ceramic from time to time (sometimes before I put it in the water…very hydrophobic). Clutch is great a few times a year to also reload the ceramic. Wake-up for anything that needs a polish (ceramic safe). Leather and interior cleaner to clean any dirt or grime on the interior. Sunsetter to protect the interior. Spot rinse for the exhaust…works awesome. If you spend some time on their website they have a “marine” section and each product has detailed instructions. Excellent company and they will respond to emails with any questions or you can call them. They are in Camarillo, CA. I have tried everything and this is by far the best. My boat looks brand new and it’s a 2022 Paragon. Their stuff is very easy to use.

Vinyl sauce daily wipe down. 303 protectant every month or so.
