G23 model year changes including quality of the wave

With apologies, probably already covered but I’m interested in a used G23 and wonder about differences in model years especially in regards to the surf wave. I presently have.16 G21 that is awesome and maxed out with weight and prop change and looking for a longer wave. TIA

You have a 2nd generation G23 which ran all the way through 2020. Gen 3 came out in 2021 which is a significant upgrade in overall wake/wave performance. That hull runs through 2024. 2022 model year is where you can get the "supplemental ballast" upgrade which adds an additional 1600lbs of sub-floor ballast. That's a really nice upgrade that I imagine most 2022-newer G23's have.

The surf wave on anything from 2021 to now is a massive upgrade from your current boat in both height, length, and most importantly, the power the wave has. They realized that the side of the boat has a huge impact on surf wave when developing the Paragon hull. You eventually see that the hull characteristics have trickled down into the entire line up of Super Air Nautiques.

Anyone have experience behind generation 4 (2025) G23 in terms of wake? curious if shape and width still the same as the gen 3 boats.
