    Why do I think that is? Because they can only produce "x" amount of boats out of their facility so why invest in a smaller market such as the barefoot market (not knocking barefoot but there are less of them) when they can make more of the wakeboard boats that are selling like crazy right now? Earlier, I wasn't referencing to market share either. I am glad you found a Malibu and you are happy with it. That is the reason there are numerous companies out there. They all offer different options for different tastes. They still spend money on R&D but they spend it where it will benefit THEM (CC) as a whole. It would tie up a whole lot of space and money to build molds for a barefoot boat that they may only build 20 of in a year (just drawing random numbers).
