i have a 2004 air 226 with stock 330pcm with stock prop. we plan on taking many trips to bass lake (elevation approx. 7000 ft) thanks

RE: suggestions for high altitude prop
The standard rule of thumb is 2 inches of pitch less for 6-7000 feet. Our 2000SN has a 12.5 15.5 so we would run a 12.5 13 or 13.5 We always ran 2 inches less at Tahoe for years. Having said that with our 2000 with EFI we don't change props. We notice a little less power but not enough to want to go out and change props.Nautiqueless in San Diego
