I have seen covers made by Rankin that have removable sunskirts so that you can take them off and still tow with your cover. not sure on there prices, but im sure you could get a quote.

Very interesting- any pics? This is the one thing I would like to add to my Rankin, as my boat will spend most of the summer on a lift (no canopy).

Do you know if this was an option offered by Rankin, or was the skirt added after the fact?

It is an option offered by them, i just dont think they mention it on the website, its part of there custom work. I have even seen covers with colored stripes down them to match the boats colors. I dont have any pictures, but i have seen their covers in person with the stripes and skirts and i wish i had one myself!

If you have one of their covers they should be able to add it onto your cover

Thanks for the info. I gave Rankin a call and they confirmed that its an option they dont show on their website. They said it can be added to a cover after the fact. Apparently the skirt attaches to the cover with a zipper. The option is ~$250 for a shorter (19') boat.
