Should any Nautique be Yellow ?

My questions stem from two boats I have been considering. A Black 206 used or a new 206 Yellow. The Black boat seems like it might be a lot to take care of but looks awesome. The Yellow seems like it will weather well and more fits the season but looks a little less impressive. The Yellow 206 also has a tower.

Both 206s are nice. I'm not normally a yellow fan. But, in this case, I personally like the yellow boat better than the black/blue one. BKH2001 Super Air

I want a Yellow 1988-1989 Ski Nautique 2001 with a 454. The perfect Correct Craft in my opinion...
But every yellow ski nautique looks great in my opinion. Expecially a 2006 with the old skool decals..230 with ZR6 running on propane

Laptom, if youre willing to come to the states theres a yellow '89 with a 454 for sale:
I also think the early 90's boats look good in yellow. They have aged much better than the teal and purple boats.

dynamike, I saw that yellow 206 in person at NECC, and its beautiful--that pic doesn't do it justice. it is soooooo nice and very classy, everyone will love it. then again, that black and blue boat is awesome as well....
here's what I've found about the black hull issue: non-black hull owners say they scratch easier and are a pain to clean; and while black hull owners agree, the black hull owners willl tell you how its not really that much of a pain to keep looking good. anyone on this site cares about their boat enough to give it the same care it needs, colored hull or not. Sure, if you beach your boat or put it on the trailer hard, yeah it might scratch EASIER, but if you know what you're doing, with just a little bit of extra care, the black hulls stay looking excellent--everyone loves how they look on the water....
if you keep your boat in the water, THEN it would be wise just to lean over and wipe down the water line a little more often, or even pull it and wash it...I Nautique, therefore I am.
