    Cincinnati Boat Show

Did anyone else here go? I was there Saturday. I noticed that the Land-N-Sea dealership was there but I couldn't find a Nautique anywhere in their display.

On the other side of the aisle, both Malibu and Supra seem to be stepping up their games a bit. Build quality was quite nice, with very good features and comfort for the dollar. Mastercraft...well, they didn't seem to be there to sell boats that day. No wonder Cincinnati is Malibu country.

I wish we had a dealer presence like MD Boats, here. They do a great job selling and servicing boats. If you guys ever want to start an "MD east", let me know! I can see a need to fill that void here in town!!! Oh and lobby for CC to build a VTX killer!!! I 'll buy one sight unseen.

I was down at the show on Friday. Land-N-Sea actually had two booth locations...and the Nautiques were way back in the far corner at their second booth space.

They had a 220, 236, and a 196...and I heard through the "grapevine" that they didn't sell a single Nautique the whole show...goose egg, nada, zip, not one.

I did hear that the Malibu dealership sold a few boats, but the biggest surprise came from the Supra dealer which sold 15-16 boats...

Well, that might explain it. We got as far down as the No Wake area and had already passed the L-n-S booth with all the pontoons and such. Bummer. I would have liked to have seen the new boats.

Doesn't suprise me about the other two sales figures. The boats were classy, the sales people weren't high pressure. The Supra guy showed me all around the boat even after it was clear his boats didn't meet the length requirement on my lake. No Wake is in a class of it's own for a dealer. Really great guys with not a lot of pressure. They also brought out a nice selection of the boards and goodies. New Ronix stuff is light-n-tight!

Actually Land N Sea sold 5 Nautique's at the Cincinnati and Dayton Show. We always stock most models and have 3 - 220's as well as 196, 206, 211, 226, and 236 in Stock. Show Promoter couldn't accomdate all the space we needed. Hope to have all in one booth next year. Year to date our sales are nearly double of last year and continue to grow.
