Ordering a 236 Tomorrow!

Well, I think I am going to place my 236 order tomorrow. What do you guys think of these colors? These have become sort of my standard Nautique colors. Every Correct Craft that I have owned has been some combination of red, black and white. I was going to go with black hull, black bottom stripe and canyon mist top stripe, but I kept going back to the red and black. In my opinion, you just can't beat those colors on a Nautique.

The boat is coming from the great people at Chessie Marine.

The interior shot below is from NECC. They have a boat that has the exact interior colors that I plan to order. It is nice to see what it will really look like before I order.

I love that color combination. Red, White and Black always goes well together. You just can't go wrong.

I saw the 236 at the Pleasanton Boat Show and I loved it! If I was to replace my 226, it will very likely be a 236.

Jeff, that color combo is awesome... I love it. The red is gonna look sick on the inside too...

Sometimes I see gray/black/canyonmist etc. types of boats that look amazing and I'd love to have one one day, but nothing beats a shining nautique on the water, with color... 8-) Nice choice!

My jealousometer just pegged. I am not a big fan of black hulls and the ones I saw at the factory that were most impressive and classic were white with blue and grey accents. Those just blew me away.

But you know what really blew me away? The overall composition of that boat. The tower is unreal. Best tower since the FCT we all know and love. What a boat. I need to get behind one asap. And I need to get rich asap too. Tips are appreciated on both fronts

Are you going with grey seat bottoms? As an owner with those, maybe use white for the seat bottoms, and grey trim? My $0.02 is that the white is MUCH cooler in the sun, sounds crazy, but check it out this summer.
Don't know if you can order that way, but just a thought.

I think you can order it that way, but I kind of like the grey seat bottoms. I have them on my 210, and I don't think they get too hot. I was considering the dark grey seat bottoms, dark grey trim, black main stripe and red piping, but decided that would just be too hot in the sun.

I like it - but are you going to be able to handle the rub marks on that black bottom hull? You're like me I think - very anal....just a thought

Yeah I dunno how bad the sun is in VA but in TX black boats get sun burnt bad! But when taken care of they do look really sweet! Either way bad a$$ boat enjoy

Yeah, the black does take a little bit more care, but I have really enjoyed my current 210, and it is mostly black. It has held up very well. I've had this one since 2003.

Jeff, Congratulations on making the big move. I think it's only fitting that our esteamed leader be in the new flagship.

I know you have considered all 7.343 million color combinations but what's your take on having a red top stripe? It's a waste of a stripe but I think it just looks right. Your choice is more in line with your current boat however.
