I can't believe that this has died out. I am sure there must be more experiences with the wake now that the boat is in production. Anyone?

RE: Is the 210 Debate Dead?
I do not buy that argument - we have not heard much on the 236 either. I think that it is strictly that the numbers are not available. Everyone knows that the wake will be fine and great if waited properly, it is just not going to be like the old 210, but then no other boat before was like it either. Simple as that.2001 Super Air

My take on it is this...
The Super Sport hull, is in my opinion, the best wakeboard hull & platform ever produced. Correct Craft sees it as old technology that needed a refresh. Thats from the horse's mouth and from a business innovation and leadership perspective I see their point.
Now, personally I do see the new 210 is a little bit of a mis-step, but I am not as smart as the folks at Correct Craft so there's no way they didn't think this through. Nor have I been behind one yet. I just don't personally understand it. Which means nothing except I probably wouldn't be interested in dumping my lovely 2001 SAN for a 2007 New 210. But that 236 on the other hand....
Seeing the 236 Crossover in person, makes me think that they nailed this boat so accurately, that despite the 'Crossover' branding, the 236 will be the next Correct Craft boat that hardcore wakeboarders will covet most. I say this as a hardcore wakeboarder, who currently covets the 236. Even more than the Malibu 247 (I like big boats. I have been saying forever that our boats are not getting smaller and in 20 years we'll be riding behind boats that bear more resemblence to lobster trollers than slalom boats - mark my words).
I wrote an article about the discontinuation of the 236 a few months back:

I think Pratt is right. You can not get a whole lot of real information from a handful of folks that have been on a demo. Boats take a little time to get the weight right on, and to adjust to. I am sure the new 210 wake will be made right.
My complaint on that boat is the interior. Why do a mini 220 instead of a mini 236. I just don't think there is enough room to do what they did. But, again I have not lived in one. I spoke with a 220 owner who was not thrilled about the interior layout at first, but by the end of summer loved it. So, I am hopeful.

Hey Guys,
We delivered Australias first 236 about two weeks ago. When we took the big lady out for a water test the wake was very impressive with just the standard ballast.
Obviously we didn't ride behind it or put more weight in it, being a brand new customer boat and all, but have no fears, the 236 upholds the Nautique tradition and is a worthy addition to the line.
We took a whole heap of photos but due to a technical problem, most of them were lost.
On a side note, the day we water tested her there we heaps of boats out at the ramp and river, most of whom looked her over etc. We always run a full ballast run as part of a water test and later that night there was a news report on TV about the Sunami warnings going off in Sulwesi (about 3,000 km away in Indonesia).
For the next couple of days the local joke was that the 236 was the cause of the Sunami warnings (and that's our story and we're sticking to it...........)
