    NAUTIQUES ON TV!

I had my TiVO set to record anything about watersking, and on Jan. 15th "Stunt Junkies" (on The Discovery Channel) featured Scott "The Rockett Man" Ellis trying to beat the world record for jumping over the most boats. Of course he was being pulled by a great looking black Nautique, and they showed several other Nautiques in the water throurghout the episode. I think it will be shown again Feb. 1st at 11:00 P.M. It was a good story about Scott, his accomplishments, crashes, and his family who stands behind him. I enjoyed it, and thought some of you other Nautique Fans might have missed it, and wanted to catch it the second time around. (Just something to do until summer comes around 8-) )

If I remember correctly, he has severe nerve damage in his foot from a prior crash and can not keep it straight/forward. He uses a half roll of duct tape with a brace and basically makes a cast. That's commitment.

JD Webb also has a Stunt Junkies episode where he is pulled by a 216 over a fountain in downtown Orlando.
              How about \"Chales\"?

you know, he cleared the last boat by a huge margin. I'd like to see him add boats until the back of his skis just miss the last boat. Then it'll be a real stunt!

I'm 99% sure that was used just to hold the waterproof camera to which the helmet cams were hooked up to. I've seen that same thing used on other stunt junkies episodes that have to do with water...
