I can 2nd or 3rd on the TowerBiminis .com I have been to there place its a great shop they IMO they do the best FCT tower Bimin's. They have 3 FCT towers there and they test fit every bimini they make. All the hardwhere clamps are real nice aluminum or for extra $ you can get Stainless Steel.

My custom cover had already been made before I bought the boat from Mid-Ohio Nautiques. I am not sure who made it, but if you send forum user midohionautiques a PM, I'm sure he'll tell you.

Amount of Shade provided? I like the looks of it, but with a new baby on board it has to be functional over looks

I would say that a bimini from TowerBiminis.com will be one of the most functional available, just because they're so much longer than most of the others. Mine was part of the deal when I bought my boat, so I can't answer your question about cost.

I just got my boat back from upgrades....tower and bimini included. Worked for a bit last night to get the bimini opened up and stowed back. I am hoping that opening that dude gets easier...it was a two person operation and a fairly cumbersome task. The legs are wanting to spring out and they are tough to keep from hitting and scratching the tower...can those be squeezed in a bit?

The bimini that I had installed is up very close to the tower because I am 6'-6" tall. I am thinking that the proximity to the tower is also making it hard to get opened up.....also that material is very tight...does that get easier?

The little screws that are used to secure the bimini, are a pain. They are tough to line up and are tought to get threaded in...seems like the tension prevents this from being easy. I understand that the top needs to be tight, but I am wondering is there are any "quick" type of connections that I could use?

All in all, I am am very happy...it looks great and MD Boats did a great job on the tower. Tricky installation to get it to work with a boom.

Do you have some pictures of your boat with the bimini open that you could post? Was the bimini from CC or Smitty's (local)? I'm trying to get some ideas, but will need to decide soon.

I called tower bimini yesterday. At top for my 04 air with a filght control tower with One strip was 700.00 and 30.00 shiping. They said they had all the numbers and would only take a few to deliver. No yet decieded to order though. The guy on the phone was very helpful.
