Not sure where you see that, but based on the charts in the press release, it shows CC as 903 on a 1,000 point scale and Malibu as 902. Nit picking, yes, but then again, I'm not sure what the difference a point makes in the scale?

Looks like CC's gonna need to keep stepping it up to keep ahead of Malibu. That's definitely a good thing though. If there were no competition, no one would improve anything.

To think that I didn't send in my survey last year for my 'bu purchase...ugh! Malibu missed top spot by one point...if I had sent mine in, CC and 'bu would have tied!!! I guess every vote really does count

Congrats to CC on the continued success in the JD Powers surveys. It's hard to win it one year, but backing it up the next year, and the next year, etc is even tougher. You guys have a great product and the dealer network to back it up.

You should have slipped $10k and I could have bought a 206 instead of my RLXi

Nitpicking...I wonder why CC had it's lowest rating in the 'watersports' category?

I was also surprised to see MC have a low rating in the 'engine' category.

Scarlet Arrow, because apparently a few CC owners were not impressed with the watersports ability. I found it strange that CC was ranked there as well...

I don't understand how Bu gets 4 stars where MC gets 3 and Supra and Moomba get 2. It's just not very logical. They are all Indmar 350's or the stroked 383. Bu' uses some "special" parts, but even then I don't see how they could rank so much higher than the Supra family...
                  How about \"Chales\"?

Unless you buy a wakeboard boat expecting to slalom or visa versa then how can you not be impressed by watersports ability?

It's all about the numbers. Consider that the 2007 Boat Competitive Information Study is based on responses from 12,140 owners who registered a new boat between June 2005 and May 2006, and that study is made up of 7 boat segments, one of which is the ski/wakeboard segment; that leaves on average about 1,730 responses per segment. It doesn't take that many people that have had problems with their boat to swing the results, and even though the engines are from the same manufacturer, the distribution of engine problems amongst the boat manufacturers I'm sure is not pro-rata. Then you have the other variable about who actually responds to the survey....maybe more MC and Supra dissatisfied customers responded than those for Malibu and CC. Bottom line, 12,000 responses is not enough to tell you anything, and 1,700 just makes it that much more meaningless.
