I got an awesome deal on a stereo package and the tower speaker clamps don't fit (clamps too big). Has anyone out there had this problem before? I do have a 95 SSN with an older style tower so its all skinnier poles. I'm just wondering what would be the best fix for it.....what would work the best to take up the extra room in the clamps and also stay sturdy so they won't bounce around when its choppy. I'm new to this site but i hope to be on alot. Any suggestions would be great!! thanks

RE: Tower speaker clamps don
Cut up an old bike tire tube, then wrap that around the bar until the clamp fits snug, or just buy new clamps from the web.

Hi and welcome to the site. I've learned a ton here, so I hope I can help you some. I had one of those older towers, and you will need to get some spacers of some sort. Monster has some you can purchase for about $25 that would be good. It depends on if your clamps are for 2.5" or 2.25" tubes, or for the 1 7/8" of the newer style FCT.

Thanks alot for the info jack/sink. I haven't had a chance to mess with that stuff yet - still trying to figure out the deck/cabin speaker prob. I think we narrowed it down to the ground though. I am def. looking forward to this site though! Nothing better for a natique owner then a site full of other natique owners! I'm going to look into the tower speaks probably tomorrow so i will let you know. I think i remember seeing something about some rubber speaker clamp inserts too?? I dont know... I've got alot to learn though about boats and stereo's period.....if it doesnt fly, i don't know too much about it!! Thanks again

No worries Kani, welcome! If you can, post up some pics whenever you have a problem with something like this - it definitely helps with solving the problem. But either way will work.
What's going on with the speakers?
And if you need a subwoofer for your system I am selling a brand new one for $80 (sorry, shameless plug, but I don't need the sub anymore).
