Any comments on a 04 Air Nautique Limited ???

How's the ski wake?

When I fill the ballast, will the wake scare the **** out of me when I try wakeboarding for the first time? I'm alot closer to an old dog than a young pup!

What about options??

You might consider skipping the cover and bimini and adding those once you get the boat. Those are the only two options that I would purchase from someone besides Correct Craft.

The great thing about CC is that you can add any option to your boat after it has left the factory. I would order a custom cover from a local shop. Maybe your dealer deals with a local company. DO NOT order the factory cover. It is a waste of money. The bimini from CC is really nice though. $45,000 sounds good. Are you ordering the boat or getting it out of stock? If you are ordering the boat, I would not order the freshwater flush (unless you are using it in saltwater). The rest looks great. As far as the wake, no it won't knock you out because it is so big. The nice thing is that it is a hard tank with a guage. You can fill it 1/4, 1/2,3/4 or full or anything in between to fine tune what you like. For a majority of skiers, the wake for skiing is great behind the boat. It is based off of the same hull as the 196 (competition version) just two feet longer so it weighs more. Let us know how it goes!

Any suggestions on where to get a boat cover, when I do a search a get zillions of hits. Or do I go to someplace like overtons and start there?

I went to www.towerbiminis.com and took a look. Are you saying the quality is better than Correct Craft or is itthe price?

They do an incredible job with the covers. Order the sunbrella cover. It is more than the polyduck but it will last 10 times longer and it has already been fitted to an identical Nautique. You will have nothing but a smile from ear to ear using their covers! Customer service there is great too.

The boat is due in to the dealer shortly. I think I was having the dealer add the flush kit. Not that the baot will be in saltwater, but there is the chance that it could be on a very rare ocasion.

I don't like the covers from Correct Craft either. NautiqueJeff: I noticed in earlier post that you had a custom cover using snaps, what local shop did you use? I'm in NC and would be interested in checking them out.
