I ordered an Air 211 from my local dealer on March 10. I put down a 10% deposit in good faith with the dealer indicating that the boat should be delivered in 6-10 weeks. As of today I still do not have a build or delivery date and the dealer tells me that all production slots have been sold. My 211 will be produced, but I still do not have any idea when. I am not interested in purchasing a new boat that doesn't arrive until mid or late summer. What should I expect? Any experience with orders here? How can I get better information from Correct Craft? My dealer says he still cannot get a date from the factory.... Advice?

My family ordered a new 216 a while ago, sunday after v-day to be exact. At first it was supposed to take about 6 weeks. Now, its been postboned about a month and a half, from late April/early May to mid June if lucky... Unfortunately, I would be very surprised if you got your boat in 6-10 weeks, esp. cuz its new to this yr. And BTW, we didn't get an official date til recently...I Nautique, therefore I am.

You will get a date and I would guess that you will have your boat in time. I know the 211 slots are all taken up for production. The boat is a bigger hit than they expected. Hang in there and you should get it in a reasonable time. Did you order from SECC?

Be patient man, the wait will be worth it. I love my SV-211, it is everything they said it would be and more. I was lucky and found one in stock that the wife and I liked. I added perfect pass and a bimini, which will be installed when they come in.Life is Short, Live it!

The dealer receives the "production slot" typically 3-4 weeks prior to the actual production window. When the dealer receives that notification, no further changes can be made to the order. I ordered my 211 TE back in late January and just picked it up - absolutely awesome boat!!!

Wow, Good info guys! I just ordered a 211 on March 8th and I am hearing dates of late May to early June. My dealer is MDBoats out of Indy and they have been very honest about the whole deal - I believe it is close.
Hey, I was considering a trip to the factory over spring break for a tour, but I guess the tours are on hold. Too bad, it would be worth a trip to see the process while waiting for your new boat to arrive. It might make the wait a little more bearable.
I CAN'T WAIT!!

They are building two 211's a day right now in addition to the other boats being made. It is actually a little bit easier to build a 211 than it is to build the other boats. There are just an amazingly high number of orders for this boat. They weren't planning on this many when they first released it.

For that kind of money, 6-10 weeks is a slap in the face. I suspect it's more a lack of efficency at the production level. Heck..even MOOMBA can get a boat to you quicker than 6-10 weeks. Given..it will be a MOOMBA when it gets there..but at least it's something to ski behind.

Skinautique is right... When we talked to Jeff W. he said that if we wanted to change our mind at the last min. we would have to call our local dealer immediately to tell him to change his colors and engine choice on his last 211 for the season. They are sold out!I Nautique, therefore I am.
