new carpet

can anyone here tell me for a 1987 2001 if 6" carpet will work and how much will i need. looking at overton's for carpet.

man boat looks great. how much carpet did you have to get and how long did it take to put down

Thanks. It took about 5 yards (6' x 15') to do the floor. I takes about 10 yards to do the entire boat. I had about 8-10 hours into it this time, which includes taking everything apart and putting it back together. I think that takes longer than actually doing the carpet replacement.

It took about 18 hours back in 2003. However, I did the whole boat.

By the way, that carpet is 28 oz / linear ft.
