RE: san driver seat
Something's wrong. I'm 6'3" and have all sorts of room. I can stretch my legs out all the way and not even touch the kick panel. Either the seat base or the kick panel has been moved. You do know the steering wheel tilts right?

the guy yhat owns the boat is 5'10" and he says it is cramped. yeah with the steering wheel down i cant even sit there. you can get down and see that the seat is sliding all the way back. looks like im going to have to pull his seat and move it back. has anyone done this? i did mine on mi 2001 but it doesnt at all look like mine.1988 Ski Nautique \"2001\"

RE: san driver seat
How are you sitting?
Do you have your legs stretched out under the dash or are the falt on your feet with your feet near the seat base?
If I have my feet flat near the seat base it can get cramped, but when I throw them under the dash there is more than enough room.
Has he added anything under the dash to take up more space, like a sub al-la-grant (whitechocolate)?

RE: san driver seat
This has been an odd discussion. Sounds like your seat is messed up. I'm only 5'11", but I have lots of room left I had an '02 SAN and didn't have a problem. You might want to get your head "down under" and make sure the track is clear. I did have something stuck in the slide preventing full range once. Best of luck to you.

RE: san driver seat
I still think something else is going on here. If the kick panel was moved 4" back it would be about 3" in front of the side panel at the bottom. Is it moved back or is it just tilted back? Either way I think the seat base was moved or the seat isn't sliding correctly. Take a picture.
